SVS Advantages
  • Solar Ventilation SystemsOnly quality products are used in every installation to give optimum performance.
  • The SVS is an environmentally friendly way of ventilating your home.
  • The transfer of thermally heated, clean, fresh dry air helps the home to be drier and healthier.
  • The reduction of renewable energy sources helps to reduce the overall heating costs - the SVS only uses about the same amount of energy as operating a small light bulb.
  • The SVS can be installed into both new and existing homes/commercial buildings.
  • Our ceiling outlets have a back-flap installed to help stop the backflow of warm air when the system is not operating to further increase the efficiency of the system.

SVS Features
  • The SVS has a set point thermostat, which is mounted in the ceiling. This thermostat requires no adjustments.
  • The optional thermometer on the wall outlet measures the air temperature when the SVS is operating and the room temperature when the SVS is not in operation.
  • The SVS has a wall switch to enable the owner to manually turn the system on and off during hot weather.
  • The SVS automatically closes down when there is insufficient thermal energy to operate.
  • The SVS does not operate during wet and very cloudy weather or at night (unless switched onto the night cooling option during summer by the customer).
  • Night cooling and ventilation option – the SVS not only helps to heat your home, the SVS can also transfer the cool, outside fresh air into your home at night during summer.

Deluxe SVS
  • The Deluxe SVS is controlled by our SVS electronic controller.  This controller continually monitors and digitally displays the roof, room and outside air temperatures.  The customer keys in the ideal room temperature and the controller will automatically strive to achieve the desired room temperature.  The SVS controller is mounted on the wall.
  • The Deluxe SVS has a 90 watt high performance fan, which draws fresh air from the roof inlet. The superior design and operation of this fan minimises noise, whilst increasing the flow of air through the ceiling outlet.
  • Summer night cooling and ventilation – the Deluxe SVS not only helps to warm your home, the SVS can transfer the cooler, outside fresh air into your home at night during summer.
  • The SVS does not operate during wet and very cloudy weather or at night (unless summer night cooling is desired).

Standard SVS
  • The Standard SVS has a 35 watt fan drawing fresh air from the roof inlet to the ceiling outlet.
  • The SVS has a set point thermostat mounted in the ceiling which requires no adjustments.
  • The SVS automatically closes down when there is insufficient thermal energy to operate.
  • The SVS has a wall switch to enable the owner to manually turn the system on and off.

House Design

We require an iron roof or pressed steel tiles (preferably a dark colour), with adequate ceiling space to install the components of the system. The system is normally installed in a north facing roof. A north-east or north-west roof may also be suitable.
